En la tarde de ayer los servicios de emergencia tuvieron que auxiliar a dos bañistas en la playa de Costa Calma, en el municipio de Pájara. Uno de ellos falleció a pesar de las maniobras de reanimación que se le realizaron. El otro, un varón de 60 años, tuvo que ser evacuado en ambulancia al Hospital General de Fuerteventura con dificultades para respirar.
Según la información emitida por el 112, los hechos tuvieron lugar en torno a las 15:45 horas, cuando se recibió el aviso de que los socorristas de la citada playa habían asistido a dos bañistas.
