La Escuela Insular de Música se encuentra inmersa en su tercera Semana Cultural con un programa que incluye ocho conciertos y 21 talleres de distintas disciplinas. En esta ocasión se han programado actividades no sólo en la sede de Puerto del Rosario, sino en la de Morro Jable y todas son gratuitas.
El pasado 15 de marzo arrancó la programación en la Plaza del Centenario del Cabildo con un Maratón Musical. Desde entonces han tenido lugar un “encuentro de metales”, pensado para instrumentistas de viento metal, un taller para trabajar la presencia escénica, otro de danza africana y varios conciertos, entre otras actividades.
Cabe destacar que las formaciones que se imparten no se limitan a la música, sino que abarcan otras disciplinas creativas. Ayer domingo, por ejemplo, tenía lugar un taller de Realidad Virtual.
