- El Club de Futbol Balompédica aspira a presentar en la nueva temporada once equipos y contar con más de 150 futbolistas.
El concejal de Deportes, Samuel Torres y el concejal, Fernando Estupiñán se han reunido este miércoles por la mañana con el presidente del club de fútbol Atlético Balompédica, Juan José Mateos Ruiz y el entrenador Rubén Cabrera Hernández, felicitándoles personalmente por la excelente participación y magníficos resultados obtenidos en el recién celebrado Torneo Teide Élite Cup 2023.
Durante la reunión se han abordado también todos los aspectos y detalles necesarios para asegurar una próxima temporada de fútbol, que apueste por más jugadores, más categorías, incluida la regional o veteranos o un nuevo equipo de fútbol femenino.
El objetivo es presentar 11 equipos con más de 150 futbolistas participantes, situando el Atlético Balompédica entre los clubs de fútbol más destacados de la isla, afirma Mateos Ruiz, que agradecía la disposición de apoyo y respaldo del Ayuntamiento de Antigua, tanto en el aspecto económico, aportando una de las subvenciones desde Deportes que se ha multiplicado en los últimos años, así como mostrando el apoyo y la infraestructura necesaria para celebrar o participar en torneos y competiciones.
El campo municipal de fútbol de Antigua aborda en estas fechas, obras de remodelación integral, agradeciendo el concejal de área la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Tuineje permitiendo hasta el momento el entrenamiento de los equipos de futbol del Municipio en sus instalaciones.
La colaboración entre instituciones o ayuntamientos, señala el alcalde de Antigua, Matías Peña, siempre obtiene resultados muy beneficiosos en ambos sentidos, y en todas las áreas, siendo los vecinos y vecinas de los municipios los mayores beneficiarios de una buena coordinación y entendimiento.
